Gain first-hand experience in sports broadcasting through our New York State Broadcasters Association internship program. Over the course of 180 hours, you’ll learn how to research, write, produce and execute live broadcasts and sports reports, report on live events, edit audio, and much more at our award winning ESPN affiliated radio station that has been recognized for outstanding broadcast reporting, talk, social media content and audio production.
Or intern with our development team to learn the ins and outs of successfully working with area businesses to help them grow their sales through presenting strategic schedules and content/copy that generate customers. We are a multimedia company that represents digital, radio and newspaper platforms. You will also get first-hand experience with other departments to provide you a well-rounded understanding of how each one plays a role in the operation. This is a paid internship. Internships are available on a per availability basis, commonly during the summer, but we also encourage them during school semesters if the course load allows.
Requirements:
– Must be at least 17 years old
– Must be a New York resident, or attending school in New York
– Must not have participated in the NYSBA Internship Program prior
