-Saturday, November 1st: Groton vs. Elmira-Notre Dame Girls Soccer Groton’s Jill Zigenfus – Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Elmira-Notre Dame in the Section IV Class C Championship, helping the Red Hawks win their first sectional title since 1987.

-Thursday, October 30th: Ithaca vs. Elmira Boys Soccer Ithaca’s James Reiter – Made multiple stellar saves (including a penalty kick save) in a 3-0 loss to Elmira in the Section IV Class AAA Championship.

-Thursday, October 30th: Ithaca vs. Corning Girls Soccer Ithaca’s Tessa Makosch – Scored the game-winning penalty kick in a 5-4 shootout win after a 0-0 tie against Corning in the Section IV Class AAA Championship, sending the Little Red to the New York State Tournament.

-Wednesday, October 29th: Groton @ Trumansburg Girls Soccer Groton’s Devyn Blasz – Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 overtime win over Trumansburg in the Section IV Class C semifinals, sending the Red Hawks to their first sectional final since 2018.

-Tuesday, October 28th: Trumansburg vs. Marathon Boys Soccer Trumansburg’s Jack Shank – Made multiple outstanding saves in a 1-0 double overtime loss to Marathon in the Section IV Class C semifinals.

-Saturday, October 25th: Groton @ Southern Cayuga Girls Soccer Groton’s Bailey Vliet – Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 overtime win over Southern Cayuga in the Section IV Class C quarterfinals, sending the Red Hawks to their first semifinal since 2019.

-Friday, October 24th: Lansing vs. Chenango Valley Boys Soccer Lansing’s Tyler Smith – Made multiple great saves in a 5-0 loss to Chenango Valley in the Section IV Class B quarterfinals.

-Wednesday, October 22nd: Newfield vs. Greene Girls Soccer Newfield’s Sophia Reed – Scored the lone goal for Newfield in a 2-1 double overtime loss to Greene in the first round of the Section IV Class C tournament.

-Tuesday, October 21st: Southern Cayuga vs. Groton Boys Soccer Southern Cayuga’s Braxton Young – Scored a hat trick and added one assist in a 4-0 win over Groton in the first round of the Section IV Class C tournament.

-Saturday, October 18th: Southern Cayuga vs. Tioga Girls Soccer Southern Cayuga’s Kyleigh Johnson – Scored the game-winning goal, heading in a free kick in a 1-0 double overtime win over Tioga in the IAC Small School Championship to help the Falcons win their first-ever league title.

-Saturday, October 18th: Trumansburg vs. Watkins Glen Girls Soccer Trumansburg’s Paetyn Howley – Did strong defensive work in a 1-0 loss to Trumansburg in the IAC Large School Championship.

-Saturday, October 18th: Trumansburg vs. Elmira-Notre Dame Boys Soccer Trumansburg’s Finn Lambro – Scored the game-winning goal off a free kick in a 1-0 win over Elmira-Notre Dame in the IAC Large School Championship to help the Blue Raiders win its first league title since 2021 and its first outright title since 1998.

-Friday, October 17th: Ithaca vs. Maine-Endwell Girls Soccer Ithaca’s Izzy Makosch – Scored the first goal and assisted the second goal in a 2-0 win over Maine-Endwell in the STAC Championship to help the Little Red win its first league title since 2004.

-Thursday, October 16th: Moravia vs. Lansing Football Moravia’s Eli Landis – Recorded 8 total touchdowns (4 passing, 3 rushing, 1 kickoff return) in a 67-14 win over Lansing.

-Wednesday, October 15th: Trumansburg vs. Lansing Boys Soccer Trumansburg’s Will Foster – Scored the game-winning penalty kick in the 5-4 shootout after a 3-3 tie against Lansing to clinch the IAC North Large Division title.

-Friday, October 10th: Trumansburg vs. Spencer-Van Etten/Candor Football Trumansburg’s Trayvon Forest – Recorded a rushing touchdown and a forced fumble in a 28-6 win over Spencer-Van Etten/Candor.

-Thursday, October 9th: Ithaca vs. Horseheads Girls Soccer Ithaca’s Sonia Enns – Scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 double overtime victory over Horseheads to help the Little Red repeat as STAC West Division champions.

-Wednesday, October 8th: Groton @ Southern Cayuga Girls Soccer Groton’s Addie Clore – Scored the second and game-sealing goal in a 2-0 win over previously-undefeated Southern Cayuga.

-Friday, October 3rd: Ithaca vs. Binghamton Football Ithaca’s Jack Barton – Recorded 6 total touchdowns (4 passing, 2 rushing) in a 47-26 win over Binghamton.

-Wednesday, October 1st: Trumansburg vs. Lansing Girls Soccer Trumansburg’s Allison Denmark – Scored 3 goals and added 1 assist in 4-1 win over Lansing.

-Tuesday, September 30th: Southern Cayuga @ Marathon Boys Soccer Southern Cayuga’s Gavin Morales-White – Made multiple saves in a 5-0 loss to Marathon.

-Monday, September 29th: Trumansburg @ Watkins Glen Girls Soccer Trumanburg’s Ellie Ouckama – Scored the game-tying goal and the game-winning goal in a 3-2 comeback win over Watkins Glen.

-Saturday, September 27th: Newfield vs. Thomas A. Edison Football Newfield’s LeMari Spears – Caught a 29-yard touchdown pass in a 54-14 loss to Thomas A. Edison.

-Friday, September 26th: Moravia vs. Dryden Football Moravia’s Eli Landis – Recorded 6 total touchdowns (4 passing, 1 rushing, 1 punt return) in a 61-24 win over Dryden.

-Wednesday, September 17th: Groton vs. Lansing Girls Soccer Groton’s Bailey Vliet – Netted both goals in a 2-0 win over Lansing.

-Tuesday, September 16th: Ithaca vs. Horseheads Boys Soccer Ithaca’s Charley Leyden Githler – Recorded 2 goals and 1 assist in a 3-0 win over Horseheads.

-Monday, September 15th: Trumansburg vs. Marathon Boys Soccer Trumansburg’s Teo Tielens – Scored the equalizing goal in a 1-1 tie against Marathon.

-Friday, September 12th: Groton vs. Walton Football Groton’s Kameron McClain – Threw one touchdown pass in his first varsity start at quarterback in a 26-20 loss to Walton.

-Tuesday, September 9th: Southern Cayuga vs. Marathon Girls Soccer – Southern Cayuga’s Haylee Young – Scored the game-winning free kick in overtime in a 1-0 win over Marathon.

-Friday, August 29th: Trumansburg vs. Lansing Boys Soccer – Trumansburg’s Jack Shank – Made 11 saves and kept a shutout in goal in a 1-0 win over Lansing.
